Sidestreet Detour

Sidestreet Detour, an exciting new(ish) 3-piece band from Duluth, MN, formed in late 2022 from a group of friends that wanted to put their own spin on the classics of country and rock. Over the course of the past year-and-a-half they have found themselves to be booked nearly every weekend at bars, festivals, casinos, and private engagements. While still playing time-tested cover tunes, Sidestreet Detour is now focused on creating original music and just released their self-titled album on July 20, 2024. Original tunes such as Little Bit, and Give, get the groove going, while Time Is Short, and I’ll Be Around are instant toe-tappers that get audiences moving from the start. Their unique brand of entertainment fuses guitar, drums, and keys with smooth vocals and harmonies. The band is comprised of Russ Sackett on guitar and lead vocals, Bart Porter on drums/vocals, and Steph Jago on bass/keys/vocals.
